There they were, two lonely girls in an unfamilar school. Their first day of college and they both looked around the room aimlessly as to where they sit. Two seats empty in different corners of the room. They take their seats and wait for the professor to hand out the syllabus that should could be summed up in about two sentences "Come to class. Plagiarism is illegal." The class soon finds out that they will be assigned partners in which they will be working with the entire semester. Sure enough, the two lonely girls are paired up together. Little did they know they were soon about to form a new friendship. As the semester went on they became very close. Hung out on the weekends and even made a few drinks downtown on school nights. Life was good for them except for one little problem. The one girl, Joanne had a boyfriend whom she cheated on everytime they went out. Ashley on the other hand was single and she was free to do whatever she wanted. Ashley knew what her new friend was doing was very wrong but shook it off and just focused on the times they had together. One day while Ashley was at work, Joanne and her boyfriend came to visit them at work. They all met up for drinks later and Ashley found that Joanne's boyfriend was a big sweetheart and didnt deserve what his girlfriend was putting him through but still thought it was best to keep things to herself. Later on in the semester Joanne realized that maybe the single life was for her and she broke things off with her boyfriend, lucky for her it was summer and time to party! The two friends drifted apart, and did their own things over the summer. They caught up with their old friends and rarely picked up the phone to see how one another was. At the end of the summer Ashley was at a local football game and ran into Micheal, Joanne's exboyfriend. They recognized eachother and ended up catching up for a few minutes during half time and decided to exchange numbers. Later that night, Ashley received a text from a random number and found out it was from Micheal. They chatted for a while and made it an everyday habbit just to say hello and keep in touch. When the next semester started the two girls were reunited but things were much different. Although Joanne had no idea that Ashley and Micheal became good friends, their friendship just seemed like it was dead and their wasnt much there. Ashley wasn't sure if talking to her old friend's ex was a good idea but truth was she didn't think Joanne ever deserved him anyways. Few weeks into the semester Micheal and Ashley went on a romantic date. Sparks were there and Ashley was glad she decided to take the chance with him. Ashley later on broke the news to Joanne, although knowing she would be upset it was the right thing to do. They exchanged a few harsh words with one another and decided not to be friends. Ashley and Micheal realized that their relationship was way too important to let Joanne get in between it and they ended up becoming the happiest couple ever. . . Micheal finally found his true love <3
